I watch so many people say one thing but when you look at their lives their actions are opposite of what they say. Your actions always tell what you really believe. You are always living your truth. You can’t hide from the truth. The truth will come out through your actions.
How many times do you see people say they love their spouse but the same night they are in bed with someone else? So what is the truth there? The truth is the love has faded when that happens. I am not saying that the love can’t come back with God’s help but in reality their heart has already hardened towards their spouse because you don’t accidently end up in bed with someone else. Affairs don’t just happen, they are almost always planned out. Many times the person made hundreds of choices along the way that started that affair.
How many times have you seen people look great in person, but their lives are miserable? When you are around them, you can just feel it. They tell you everything is amazing but the truth is, they are drowning in their problems and many times those problems were caused by them in the first place.
How many times have you heard people say, I wish I could change? This is huge because in reality they don’t really want to change. People that want to change, find a way while others find an excuse. Don’t say you want to change then have every excuse in the book on why you can’t change.
How many times has someone come to you for advice but then didn’t take your advice? The truth was they really didn’t want your advice, they wanted your ear but didn’t know how to tell you that. Their actions proved what they really believed.
How many times do you hear people say I love my job and I am happy, but then they complain about every aspect of the job itself? Many times what this means is they know their job is not their calling and they are frustrated. They may or may not know their actual calling at this time but either way they don’t know what to do.
How many times have you seen Christians say they would follow God anywhere, but then their actions show that they have no heart? This one scares me with people. I watch so many people judge the poor and homeless. Yes some of them may have done it to themselves but that still gives us no right to look down on them. Remember, you have never been perfect either, what if God picked and chose based on your standards? Would any of us be saved?
Our actions tell all no matter who we are. Our actions tell what we really believe. I listen to what people say while watching their actions and if that doesn’t line up then I know what the real truth is. We all have our moments and that’s ok, but you have to realize when your actions are not lining up. You have to quit lying to yourself if you are going to move forward. You have to seek your truth because if you keep lying to yourself then you will never change into the man or woman God wants you to become!
Are you really living your truth or are you living a lie? Your actions are showing the truth to others. Are you ready to finally see your truth and follow God where he is leading you? Are you ready to fully surrender to God and his calling on your life? Are you ready to take back your marriage? Are you ready to live the life that God called you to live?
Ask God to help you see your truth. Ask him to help you stop lying to yourself and start living up to what he called you to do. Ask him to give you the discernment to know your truth from your own lies. Ask him to teach you to live this way each day. Ask him to give you the courage to face whatever it is you are hiding so that you can finally live your truth. Ask him to give you the strength to finally fully surrender to him because everything starts at full surrender! AMEN!
