Don’t Use God as an Excuse to Fail in Life!

I see so many people use God as an excuse to fail in life. This reasoning saddens me because I do not think he wants you to fail. They say you need to be content with what you have and not focusing on bettering your life financially, BUT these same people promote going to college? Why would you go to college if you are content with life? Is that not saying the opposite because going to college is supposed to be bettering your life right? If you are supposed to be 100% content with your life what if you have marriage problems, are you then supposed to settle for that too?

I do not think God has a problem with you accomplishing things in your life even financially as long as they do not become your God. That is why God created this whole giving thing because the more you give from your heart, the more you realize that money is just a tool for you to use to Bless other people.

This doesn’t mean you have to have zero material possessions because if that is true that people say you don’t need all that then you need to give up any vehicle you have now as you don;t need anything in reality.

God wants to Bless us so that we can become a Blessing financially. Have you noticed that anytime someone says a certain income is too much, it is always a little above what they earn. If they make $30,000 a year, they will say $50,000 a year is too much. If they make $50,000, a year most will say $75,000 a year is too much. If they make $75,000 a year, they will say making $100,000 is too much. You never hear someone say who is making say $40,000 a year that they are making $10,000 too much.

It amazes me how many people think and as we are out talking to people this is one of the hardest things to get through someone who is hardcore for God’s mind. It seems the most dedicated they are to God the more they believe money is bad when it’s only a tool, and that’s it.

So many people misquote a verse by saying money is the root of all evil, but that’s not what it says It say the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. You put money in a good person’s hand, and he will do great things with it, and if you put it in the hands of someone even a little corrupt, he will do back thing with it. It doesn’t make money bad; it just makes the person who has money doing bad things.

So as we move into 2015 let’s remember that striving for better income does NOT make you a bad person as long as you don’t destroy your family in the process. Striving for a better life can be good when you have been just barely making in for many years. It’s time for you to be able to breathe and change your mindset to how money works in your life and change how you feel that God is against you having money! Let’s make 2015 the year of big dreams and let’s all work together to make that happen!
